PAI Proof of Useful Work (PoUW) Livestream/AMA on June 12th, 2020 at 8:00 pm China Time


Dear PAIyos,

PAI Foundation President Chuck Ng, PAI core contributors Dr. Mark Harvilla and Dr. Andrei Lihu, and PAI special advisor Dr. Yongzheng Jia will host PAI Proof of Useful Work (PoUW) Livestream/AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Beijing time June 12th, 2020 at 8:00 pm (June 12th, at 5:00am US PDT). The AMA will go over the PoUW roadmap and respond to any feedback about it. This event will be conducted through Zoom video conference. All PaiYos are welcome to participate actively.

  1. When will the PoUW mainnet launch? How to upgrade PAI’s current hybrid consensus (PoW+PoS) to the hybrid consensus with PoUW (i.e., PoUW + PoS)?
  2. Is there any potential disadvantage or risk to upgrade to PoUW? If so, how do you avoid them?
  3. How does PoUW attract AI training and on-chain computing requestors to join and propose demands? How to motivate miners and validators?
  4. Will PoUW increase market demand for PAI coins? How will it affect PAI’s future market cap?

  • Explore the code.
  • Build and run the implementations.
  • Modify the code.
    • Submit your proposed changes as a GitHub Pull Request! Project PAI Core Contributors will review your proposed changes and determine whether or not to merge your PR into the master branch.
