On July 19-20, ObEN, Project PAI’s early adopter, will be attending SoftBank World - an annual event showcasing the latest technologies from SoftBank, its portfolio companies, and leading exhibitors from around the world.
SoftBank World is the largest corporate event held by the SoftBank Group, a leading multinational conglomerate ranked by Forbes at the 39th largest company in the world. Every year, thousands of influential enterprise leaders gather to explore new business opportunities, share industry developments, and discuss the future trends in a wide range of verticals. Held at the Prince Park Tower Tokyo, this year’s event will focus on the informationation revolution connecting everything and changing the world. In addition to a keynote address by SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son, leading experts and entrepreneurs from organizations including Nvidia, Google Cloud, and Keio University will discuss the latest developments and future outlook in AI, Robotics, IoT and more.
ObEN will be giving a daily presentation on our Personal AI (PAI) technology to the attendees, and will also have a booth where attendees can visit, learn more about our work, and experience creating their own PAI with a simple selfie and short voice recording.
As a SoftBank portfolio company, ObEN is honored to be invited to present our own research and development in PAI secured on the Project PAI blockchain. We look forward to sharing our vision of a connected world through which interactions are personalized via the use of PAIs - intelligent 3D avatars that look, sounds, and behave like the user. Through our efforts to secure and store associated PAI data on the blockchain, we hope to demonstrate a new mode of information economy in which users acquire more robust control and use of their own digital data.
SoftBank has long been a supporter of ObEN’s work in the AI space. Through its subsidiary - SoftBank Ventures Korea Corp. - it had previously invested in ObEN’s Series A funding round, and recently announced ObEN’s selection into the third cohort of its SoftBank Innovation Program. The program funds the development of prototype solutions and test marketing for participants, and through the program we will explore further implementations of our technology in the AR/VR space.
